Karl and Chanel on Xmas tour around the world at Printemps
A year ago, I was behind the windows of Printemps for the inauguration of “Noel au Château” starring Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. I couldn’t get a word of what they were telling me on the walkie-talkie. “Number 3: Go for the horses, number 12: window #2 is still off, I repeat window #2 is still off…”.
And when the curtains opened, I was watching them all, eyes shining and glittering. Good memories.
This year, I’ll be among them, observing the journey of Karl and Chanel through the greatest cities in the world for Christmas. A collaboration between the department store and the luxury house that already sparkled on the Boulevard Haussmann and calls for all the tourists from around the world to come hang out by these enchanting windows.
